For the third year in a row, an RCS executive will be chairing Broadcast Asia’s radio track in Singapore in June. “The organizers are putting together a distinguished and engaging line-up of speakers,” said Powell, “the opening keynote will be given by one of Asia’s most successful broadcast executives, Jake Abdullah, CEO of Malaysia’s Astro Radio. Jake’s theme will be How to Build a Station that Turns its Audience into Fans.”
Many other radio experts will also be presenting case studies and thought-provoking sessions, including:
- Supinya Klangnarong, Thailand’s Commissioner, National Broadcasting and Telecommunication who will be looking at new developments in radio audio technology.
- Joan Warner, VP Asia Pacific and CEO of WorldDAB and Commercial Radio Australia who will be presenting a case study for DAB+ in smartphones.
